Brief Overview: Walrus
is bored with his small pool at the zoo. He cleverly escapes and eludes the
baffled zookeeper. Everyone is happy in the end!
Integrated Activity:
After discussing where Walrus went, and how he eluded the zoo-keeper, have
students think about where Walrus hides in plain sight around the
school/classroom/library. Using grey pastel chalks to draw Walrus in his new
surroundings, cut out a hat and props from construction paper to help him blend
in.
