BRIEF OVERVIEW“Boss Baby” is a story of a baby who declares himself boss as soon as he arrives. The story goes on to tell about the babies life, but in a different perspective than a baby. The story is told like the baby is the adult, and the adults are second to the children.
INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: An interesting take on showing children perspectives, this book could be used to show children that they way they think is not always the right way or the way everyone else thinks. Ask them if they have ever felt like the boss, and soon realized that they weren’t. How did they feel? Ask the children how each character in the story must feel since the baby is in charge. Is this how it is in real life? Who is actually in charge?
