BRIEF OVERVIEW: Each page is written in black and white with the letter being discussed written in big, red, ink. The pictures are in black and white as well, so the letter stands out. Each picture represents a word that starts with the letter being presented. Another interesting characteristic of this book, is that each page was handwritten by the authors husband.
INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Excellent story to read when students are first learning the alphabet. Show the students the pictures and see if they can guess what letter is being presented. Also, could have a worksheet with the letters for the students to trace.
