BRIEF OVERVIEW:
This is a beautifully
illustrated ABC book that has pictures of animals and other scenery that start
with that letter. One example is, "Horrible
Hairy Hogs Hurrying Homewards on Heavily Harnessed Horses.”
INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Ask students what they noticed about
the sentence on each page. They will answer that each word in the sentences
started with the same letter. Teach students that this is what an alliteration
is. Have them write their own sentences using alliterations.
