Welcome to: A Book or Two: Children's Literature Reviews, a blog site that offers information on new, classic, and favorite children's literature, reviewed by university professors, classroom teachers, librarians, and those studying to become teachers. We hope you will find "just the right book" to share with others. Our goal is to keep the site updated with information about children's authors, book awards, and new releases. Each entry will include the book cover picture, a brief overview, bibliographic information, and suggested uses for families, librarians, and teachers. BRIEF OVERVIEWA student is frazzled with all the math that goes into day-to-day life! She breaks down how you need to know how to use math to function in every day life. She also connects several areas of math to student's lives in several ways children might not have thought possible. 
INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Have a mathematical pizza day to celebrate this special book! Divide the pizza into an even amount of slices, and have the students incorporate fractions into their pizza eating. IE- (Concept that 2 pieces of pizza from 8 slices is 2/8 or 1/4.)
