BRIEF OVERVIEW: There is an Eloise book for every occasion! This particular one tells the story of a young girl named Eloise and her nanny receiving the opportunity to travel to Paris. Eloise describes every hilarious detail of her trip throughout the book.

INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Ask the entire class who has ever received the opportunity to travel. Ask where each student would like to travel to one day. Have each student decide on a place (a state or country). Then take the class to the library, and ask the students to find a book about the place they would like to travel to. In one week each student will share about the place they chose.

BRIEF OVERVIEW: In this book, a young girl takes you on a journey through her different moods throughout the day. She feels many ways such as happy, angry, jealous, and sad, which is something everybody can relate to!

INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Have students create a “Today I Feel” chart. Each one can make a different picture of a certain mood (angry face, sad face). Each day remind the students that today they are going to feel happy and have one of them put the square around the happy face.

BRIEF OVERVIEW: A group of animals are having a hard time sleeping, so they pounce around the forest and shake their sillies out. As they are moving about they run into a group of campers, where they wiggle their waggles away, and eventually become tired and fall asleep.

INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Students will listen to this book along with its tape, to get their wiggles and waggles out from recess.

INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Have students use the rhyming words from the book to create new words that rhyme with the words from the story.
