BRIEF OVERVIEW: Hansel & Gretel details the story of a young boy and his little sister who are abandoned by their parents.  On their journey to find their home, they find a house made of food.  To their surprise the old lady living inside wants to eat Hansel! The children outsmart the witch and find their way back home.

INTEGRATED ACTIVITY:

1.  Have a discussion on what else Hansel and Gretel could have done better to get home.

2.  Have the class create a map of the different paths Hansel and Gretel took and a map to get home.
