Welcome to: A Book or Two: Children's Literature Reviews, a blog site that offers information on new, classic, and favorite children's literature, reviewed by university professors, classroom teachers, librarians, and those studying to become teachers. BRIEF OVERVIEW: THIS BOOK WAS ABOUT TILLY. TILLY DID NOT LIKE BEING TALL BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT ABLE TO DO MANY THINGS HER SHORTER CLASSMATES WERE ABLE TO DO. TILLY FINALLY DISCOVERS THAT HER HEIGHT GIVES HER AN ADVANTAGE IN SOME SPORTS. TILLY LIKES BEING TALL AFTER ALL. 
INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: HAVE THE STUDENTS WRITE SOMETHING THEY DO NOT LIKE ABOUT THEMSELVES. AFTER WRITING ABOUT SOMETHING THEY DISLIKE ABOUT THEMSELVES, HAVE THE STUDENTS LIST REASONS AS TO WHY THAT CHARACTERISTIC MAY BE A GOOD THING TO HAVE.
