Welcome to: A Book or Two: Children's Literature Reviews, a blog site that offers information on new, classic, and favorite children's literature, reviewed by university professors, classroom teachers, librarians, and those studying to become teachers. BRIEF OVERVIEW: This book is about an old Chinese folktale of as boy with a long name, that falls into a well.
INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Have the students read and compare other folktales. See if they can make up their own. They can either write about it or draw a picture that symbolizes their folktale.
