BRIEF OVERVIEW:
While on the phone with her son, a mother tells him of all the ways that she
will get back to him. Even if she had to take a pirate ship or ride on a
cheetah, nothing will stop her from rejoining her son.
INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Read the story to the children and ask them to choose one person
(friend/family member) that they would miss if they were away for too long.
Tell them to paint/draw a picture showing how they would get back to the one
they missed. Have them share the pictures with the class.
