Book Description: I love this story, because the rhyming words are fun to read. I can see my students getting into the rhythm and having a great time reading the story. The characters in the book are singing and dancing. The author gives a great description of what each character is doing and the illustrator gives the audience bright and vibrant pictures. The book addresses numbers one through ten, a million, and a billion.
Integrated Activity: (1st grade) Give each student a number card and while you read the story if they hear their number the student is to hold up their number card and dance along with the character in the book.
