BRIEF OVERVIEW: Joey is a very “wired” kid and in
order to stay under control (sometimes) he must take his medicine or mistakes
can happen like cutting off the tip of a fellow classmate’s nose. Joey has
gotten himself into so much trouble that the only path that seems to be left is
to go to the special facility downtown. Joey hopes that this will help him to
not be such a “wired boy” or this might be his new school….permanently.
INTEGRATED ACTIVITY: Students will discuss the he way that
the digestive system works and how certain objects get digested while others
cannot.
